Frequently Asked Questions

MEMBERSHIP & ACCESS

What makes Concierge Pediatrics different?

Concierge Pediatrics offers a level of access, time, and personalized care that traditional practices simply cannot match. Our patients receive same-day visits, extended appointments, 24/7 support from their doctor, and guidance that considers the whole child. We build long-term relationships with families and provide the type of attentive, connected care every parent deserves.

What does my membership include and what does it cover?

We offer different tiers of membership to best suit your family’s needs. Membership can include in-person and/or virtual visits, as needed, as well as same-day or next-day appointments, extended visit times, routine vaccines, sick visits, and necessary lab work done in our office. You also receive 24/7 access to your pediatrician by text, phone, or telehealth, along with care coordination when needed. We intentionally keep our patient panel small so every family receives exceptional access and attention.

What ages does Concierge Pediatrics treat?

We see patients from birth all the way to age 30. We can provide care for your child away at college and help them transition into adult medicine when the time comes.

Some membership plans, including virtual-only care, are limited by age. Please see our membership page for details.

Will Concierge Pediatrics limit the amount of patients that it will be accepting?

Yes. In order to provide the highest quality of personalized care to each family, we will limit the number of new patients. Once the practice reaches capacity, families will be placed on a wait-list and notified when a spot becomes available.

Can I change my membership tier?

Yes. You may upgrade or adjust your membership tier. Our team will help you review your options.

Can membership be canceled?

Yes. Memberships can be canceled at any time with 30 days notice. Memberships include a one-time initiation fee, which is nonrefundable. New families agree to a 12-month initial commitment when joining.

TELEHEALTH & TRAVEL

How does telehealth work and how do I use my take-home device?

Upon enrolling for our telehealth eligible membership packages or when purchased as an add-on service, families are provided with a state-of-the art Nonagon telehealth device. Our team teaches you how to use it step by step. The device allows accurate remote diagnosis whether you are home, at school, or traveling. If you do not have the device with you, you can still meet with your pediatrician virtually, and we will guide you on the next steps for care.

How can my concierge doctor help when I am traveling out of town?

We view ourselves as medical concierges. Whether your child becomes sick at home, at school, or while traveling, our team is ready to support you. With the telehealth device, we can diagnose many illnesses remotely. If a specialist is needed, such as an orthopedist or plastic surgeon, we assist in coordinating referrals and help you get seen quickly.

We offer full support for college students through telehealth visits, medication management, coordination with campus health services, and the use of a take-home telehealth device when appropriate.
